Recipe: Aurora Cellars Sangria

  • December 20, 2017

Happy National Sangria Day!

Thought to have originated in the Caribbean, this easy-sipping punch has been enjoyed all the world over for centuries, and we love sipping on the many variations that our Leelanau Peninsula wineries so sagaciously stir together. Enjoy this tasty variation from Aurora Cellars that focuses on dry red wine, cherry cider and yummy Michigan fruits, and cheers to #nationalsangriaday and the holiday season!

The Recipe:

  • 1/2 cup pitted black cherries
  • 1/2 cup cranberries
  • 1 cup of cubed granny smith apples

Stir, refrigerate overnight (or as long as you can hold out) and enjoy!
