If we want to stop for lunch or dinner, what are our options? Do any of the tasting rooms offer meals?

You have several options to choose from when touring our trail! Many of our wineries offer small snacks and/or charcuterie boards to pair with your wine tasting. If you’re looking for a more substantial meal, the following wineries have adjoining restaurants or bistros where you can order items such as pizza, burgers and sandwiches, charcuterie boards, or fuller meals:

  • Black Star Farms
  • Cherry Republic
  • French Valley Vineyard & Bistro
  • Leelanau Wine Cellars

There are several delicious restaurants along the trail, many of which pair up with our wineries during special food & wine tour events! Please visit our Restaurants Page for a complete list of our recommended eateries.

If we’re coming up during a non-event weekend and just want to do some tastings, how do we begin?

Just choose which winery you’d like to begin at and be sure to check the indivdudal tasting room hours. From there, use our smartphone app or brochure (available at all Leelanau Peninsula Wineries and the main Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail office, as well as visitor centers and hotels throughout the Traverse City area) to navigate your way along the trail.

What are your hours?

The Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail Administrative Office hours are Tuesdays – Thursdays from 9 am – 4 pm and Fridays from 9 am – 2 pm. Please note that these hours do not reflect the tasting room hours of our wineries.

Generally, our wineries open between 11 am – 12 pm and close at 6 – 7 pm during the Summer & Fall months (May – Oct). During Winter months (Nov – April), our wineries typically open at 12 pm and close by 5 pm (actual operating days vary).

Sunday operating hours for our wineries are usually 12 – 5 pm throughout the year, with some exceptions. We encourage you to refer to our brochure or check out our winery pages to confirm individual hours.
