Wine: 2006 Semi-dry Reisling
Food: Cherry marinaded pork tenderloin with cherry chutney
Why: I wanted to use local cherries and cherry wine in the preparation, and offer a white wine to compliment the pork, "the other white meat". Sometimes folks tend to only think of white wines with chicken and fish, and I think that they will be pleasantly surprised by the combination.
