I have enjoyed several Lelanau wines for many years. I spend nearly 6 months in Florida now each winter and am surprised that Michigan Wines are virtually unknown down here. I know they compare favorably with many other American wines and many from New Zeeland which are abundant in southwest Florida. I wish I could find Michigan wines down here in the Ft. Myers area. Total Wine, a large wine store does not carry Michigan wines, which is a shame. If they were introduced to them, they would be impressed for sure.

Leelanau wines compare and exceed many, if not all, of those in California and New York. I serve MI wines to many friends who think only CA wines will do. They are all very surprised and now have joined my husband and myself as true MI wine lovers.
