Silver Leaf Vineyard will be introducing its Ice Wine "Sip & Savor" weekend, May 2nd & 3rd

vidal-blanc-ice-wineDebuting on Spring Sip & Savor weekend this Ice Wine is made from 100% Vidal Blanc fruit that was harvested at 37 Brix at a sustained temperature of 16 degrees Fahrenheit. The wine has 15% residual sugar, a velvety smooth mouth feel and very soft finish with flavors of Apricots and Peaches.

Silver Leaf Vineyard & Winery was founded in 2005 by Patti and Mark Carlson and opened on September 6th, 2008.

Located just north and west of Suttons Bay, the 30 acre estate is nestled among cherry and apple orchards where the vineyard is planted in rich loamy soil with a gentle slope on high ground. The tasting room opens to a deck through double French doors where there are tree-top level views overlooking scenic Leelanau County.

Their goal is to produce exceptional wines through small batch fermentation and attention to detail with a passion for rustic elegance and to share our experience with our friends and guests.
